Asset
A vehicle, generator, rectifier, or any other asset in respect to which the Service is used.
Asset Owner
The person and/or entity who/which engaged BAI Innovations and to whom/which the Service is rendered.
Data
The information we collect from you and/or through our Service including personal details such as your name, date of birth, email address, and any other personally identifiable data (“Personal Data”), driving behavior of anyone who drives the vehicle, and Asset behavior of mobile and fixed assets. Such data will include, among other parameters, the date, time, location, duration, speed, distance, start, finish, and direction of travel of vehicles, and also parameters like RPM, power usage, temperature for fixed Assets.
OBD (On-board Diagnostics Port)
The socket in your Asset which is used to interact with the Asset’s on-board management system. Plug-In Telematics Devices will be connected to this port.
Service
The full range of tracking, fleet management, and analytics services provided by BAI Innovations and its subsidiary companies.
Telematics Device
The unit which is fitted into the Asset or a mobile phone that serves as a telematics or information collection device that collects and transmits Data to us.
Tracking Information
Any information collected by the Telematics Device fitted to the vehicle.
“You”
We might use, receive, collect, process, or store Personal Data relating to potential and actual customers, service providers, suppliers, employees, Customer’s employees, users of the Websites, and others.
It is very important that you read this in full so that you understand what information we collect from you directly and/or through the Telematics Device fitted to the respective Asset(s) and how we then process this information as part of the Service we provide to the Asset Owner.
Data is collected under the legitimate business interests of the Asset Owner to enable it to monitor aspects such as, but not limited to: Asset Location, Fleet Optimization, Road and Driver Safety, Environmental Impact, Fuel Usage, Power usage.
Where you have any concerns about the information collected or how your information may be used, you should discuss in the first instance with the relevant individual within your organization.

We will maintain a database of all location and driving information and may keep this information indefinitely. We use this location and driving behavior to provide and maintain the Service. We also use this information to determine where we can improve our Service.
BAI Innovations may aggregate and anonymize location and/or driving behavior for statistical or business purposes. All aggregated and anonymized data (the “Non-Personal Data”) is the property of BAI Innovations. BAI Innovations reserves the right to use and/or make use of such Non-Personal Data, including the right to share and/or make such Non-Personal Data available to BAI Innovations’ partners, service providers, and other third parties, in either case for both commercial and non-commercial purposes.
How we will use your information
BAI Innovations may use your name and billing address for the purpose of invoicing you for the Service.
BAI Innovations may use your email address to contact you with regard to your account, such as to communicate that it is about to expire or to confirm any change to your phone number, and to respond to any inquiry you submit via our Website or by email.
BAI Innovations may also use your email address from time to time to inform you about our products and services that we think will interest you.
As a customer of BAI Innovations, you may also create a username and password, which we store in our database, for the purpose of you logging into your account.

On some versions of the Service, you can also create a list of geo-fencing coordinates and/or addresses that you may edit on our Website, or on your mobile device. We store these addresses in our database so that you can access them when using our Service.
The information collected by the Telematics Device may be used by us and our partners for research and analytics purposes. Information will be gathered and used whilst the Telematics Device is active; information may still be used after your use of the Telematics Device has ceased.

In addition to any BAI Innovations use of the Data, the Asset Owner may use the Data for their own purposes without reference to BAI Innovations.

Unless we have your express consent, we will only disclose your Personal Data to third parties if this is required for the purpose of completing your transaction with us. This is subject to the proviso that we may disclose or transfer your Personal Data to a partner company where you have supplied information via a site which is co-branded with that partner company or to members of our own group. If Personal Data about you may be shared with a partner company, we will tell you before we transfer such Personal Data so that you may opt out of this transfer if you wish.

Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites, and such sites are not governed by this Privacy Policy.
